For various personal reasons, I disconnected from the few social media accounts that I had previously maintained. I did this in early November, thus closing a chapter in my life that was both rewarding, yet incredibly miserable and frustrating as well. It was an abrupt decision, but something I felt was necessary in order to maintain balance in my personal life. I have no regrets. Perhaps at some point in the future I will try again. I only hope for the sake of humanity that people learn to be less hostile, ugly and negative. It's very difficult for Highly Sensitive Artists to exist in a shit storm, but that's just how it goes with social media...

For now, I can only share this wonderful interview with a handful of artists. My previous November guest, Xiao Faria daCunha, also got the short-end of the stick due to my stubborn pride. I pledge my deepest and most sincere apologies to each artist who did not recieve the full intended amount of promotional time. I truly wanted the experience to be so much more... I can honestly say that aritsts like Xiao and Maureen represent a bright and dynamic future. Where their hearts have been trampled, their passion for art has lifted their souls to greater heights. They both deserve better. They both deserve more than I can provide as a writer and fellow artist.

To Maureen, I say this directly... There is nothing that anyone can say or do that will ever tarnish your spirit. There will never be anyone capable of bringing your good will into darkness. A highly-sensitive person is someone who feels deeply for the world and the people surrounding them. They are more powerful than others realize, more intelligent, more considerate and thoughtful. Wear this badge of honor proudly, I know exactly how you feel. You will make a great living one day. You will have a home of your own and provide a great future for your children. All you need to do is stay positive and believe. With that, I look forward to seeing your progress as an artist and as a friend. I wish you all the best, never let them take the magic out of your hand...
